Medical Surgical Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring a MS Tele RN to support our client’s medical facility based in Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Facility Location:

Chesapeake, VA

Located in Coastal Virginia, just minutes from Virginia Beach and Norfolk

Offers extensive outdoor recreation: hiking trails and over 20 waterways

Assignment Details:

Unit: 5 East – Med Surg/Oncology

Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension)

Shift Options:

Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

3x12 or 4x12 – OT begins after 48 hours

Please indicate shift preference

Start Date: Targeting June 2, 2025

Schedule Includes: Weekdays, every other weekend, floating, and holidays

Patient Ratio:

1:7 (Must be pre-closed with candidate before submission)

Requirements:

Active RN license (Compact or VA – must be in hand)

BLS (AHA only)

Epic proficiency – MANDATORY

Skills: IV starts, telemetry interpretation

Minimum 2 years Med Surg/Oncology experience

Travel experience preferred

Must pass EKG test on first attempt (basic rhythms – no remediation)

No candidates within 50 miles of facility (must include current address on submittal)

Vaccinations:

COVID-19 vaccine: Not required

Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
